Petropoulos, after its triumphant tour in Thessaloniki and China, returns to the National Opera House twenty-five years after its first presentation at the Olympia, as part of a tribute to the great Greek opera director, set designer, and costume designer.<\/p>\n<p>Petropoulos offers us a unique postcard of 19th-century France, creating a spectacular depiction of scenes both in Violetta Val\u00e9ry&#8217;s Parisian residence and her country house on the outskirts of the French capital, with impressive costumes fully faithful to the spirit of the work.<\/p>\n<p>The opera depicts the love between a courtesan and a young man from a good Parisian family.
